DDG has been hit with a restraining order by former girlfriend Halle Bailey after she accused him of abuse during their relationship.
The restraining order was granted by a Los Angeles judge after Bailey claimed she feared for the safety of herself and their one-year-old child, Halo.
In court documents, Bailey said: “Throughout our relationship. Daryl has been and continues to be physically, verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive towards me. I am seeking orders to protect myself and our son Halo from his ongoing abuse.”
Bailey claimed that since their breakup last year, there have been multiple instances of physical violence.

In January, Bailey claimed DDG attacked her as she tried to strap their baby in a car: “The next thing I knew, things got physical between us. We fought each other, wrestling and tussling. At one point, Darryl was pulling my hair. He then slammed my face on the steering wheel, causing my tooth to get chipped. I then stopped fighting back as I was in a lot of pain.”
Bailey’s filing also included photos of what she claims are injuries caused by DDG.
Bailey also alleges in March that that DDG verbally berated her when she refused to send their son to him when he was sick.
She claims he then smashed her Ring doorbell when he realised it was recording the confrontation and that Bailey filed a police report over the incident.

Bailey has also asked that DDG stop talking negatively about her on his livestreams: “Whenever he wishes to cause upset, he starts bad mouthing me to his several millions of fans. He claims I am withholding our son and that I am with other men. As a result, I then receive threats and hate on social media.”
As a result of the temporary restraining order, DDG cannot go near his former girlfriend and child and is not allowed to possess any weapons.
At a hearing next month, the judge can decide to extend the restraining order for up to five years or even dismiss it entirely.
