Finesse2Tymes is currently being held in federal custody after prosecutors allege he violated the terms of his supervised release on multiple occasions.
According to TMZ, the rapper surrendered to authorities on Friday (May 2). He is being accused of violating his supervised released on three occasions: failed drug tests in 2022 and 2024 (both allegedly testing positive for marijuana) and his arrest for alleged terroristic threats earlier this year.
The latter stems from an incident with his then-artist King, whose guardian claimed Finesse threatened to pull a gun on her over a dispute about the minor.
Finesse has been on supervised release since July 2022 after serving almost four years of his five-year sentence for possessing a gun as a former felon.

His next hearing is scheduled for May 8.
In other news, Finesse2Tymes was recently sued by a man who says he acted as the rapper’s driver during a violent incident in June 2023 that occurred in a nightclub in Decatur, Georgia,
Ernest Flores originally filed suit against the now-closed venue’s owners last October, but an amended version of the complaint was filed in early January, which is when Finesse2Tymes appears to have been added.
The complaint, spotted by TMZ, accuses the rapper of failing to do enough to help with crowd control, and the venue for allowing the event to go on despite, per the outlet, “knowing the risk of criminal activity and the large crowd expected.”

At 3 AM during an afterparty for Birthday Bash Weekend at which Finesse was performing, gunfire reportedly broke out inside the club due to an argument. Five people, initial articles claimed, were shot.
Flores says in his suit that he was shot in the head, and provides photos of his injuries.
