Jim Jones was down to shoot a fair one with Kanye West amid their recent public fallout, but Ye wasn’t with it – despite it being his idea.

Jim and Ye were seen hanging out heavily from Los Angeles to Japan earlier this year, where they were reportedly working on not only music but fashion as well.

But less than two months later, Ye called Jim out in one of his many social media rants, writing “FUCK JIM JONES” and later saying it was because the Harlem native didn’t know how to make a PDF.

Appearing on Angela Yee’s Way Up With Yee show this week, Capo spoke on their situation.

“Boy got a little screws loose and shit like that,” Jim quipped. “Obviously, from what the things that he been talking about. I do see that he needs attention. Like he seems to want the most attention in the world.”

He also had nice things to say and praised Ye for his business acumen.

“I appreciate the good times we had. Like we had a time. He’s smart. He’s a genius,” he said. “He know how to sell some shit. And that’s the one thing that I do credit him for – he’s in this fashion game. He’s not the most flyest, right? He’s not the most stylish – I’m telling you that firsthand as he was trying to take outfits off my whole body when I walked in. But we always knew that. But he knows how to use influence in the right way when it comes to fashion.

“He knew what he wanted and he was the first person to turn that into commercial dollar that was bigger than anything. I would trade all my fashion flyness to figure out how to turn this shit into a billion dollar business. That’s what he did that nobody figured out how to do.  And nobody can’t take that away from that man. He had people coming to stadiums by the thousands. Like, every one of his marketing strategies hit in a multi-million dollar way.”

He then went on to describe their fallout.

“I have all the texts. That’s why I’m laughing like, yo bro you talking about this $2 million? If I was one of these n-ggas that love the media, I would put the whole text up and show you everything that you lied about. Like bro, let’s not do this. We only talk through text.”

He continued: “But we had our own back and forth. N-gga said he want to shoot the fair one with me I said, ‘Cool. I’m flying out to LA tomorrow. We can shoot the 31.’ That’s terms where I’m from where we fight for 31 seconds. I’ll kick your ass for 31 seconds, [then] I’ll hug you and then I fly back. He said – I got it on text – he said, ‘No I was just venting. We don’t have to do that.’ He had said, ‘I will fight you! I know it’s not the best I will fight you.'”
