Travis Scott‘s Coachella performance went smoothly for the most part — but his brief curfew overrun ended up costing the festival promoters a $20,000 fine.

Travis was the headliner for both Saturday nights on the two-weekend festival earlier this month. On the first of the two Saturdays, his set ended up going five minutes past the midnight curfew, which TMZ reveals caused Goldenvoice to be hit with the five-figure fee.

The charges were previously established as part of a contract between Goldenvoice and officials in the City of Indio: a daily penalty of $20k for the first five minutes past curfew, followed by an additional $1k for every minute thereafter.

However, the overage wasn’t exactly Travis’ fault. Sources tell the outlet that the act before him, Green Day, started 15 minutes late due to a fireworks issue, which in turn caused a five minute delay (and subsequent five minute overage) for the Houston star.

The fine for Travis’ set ended up being the only one between both weekends of Coachella and this past weekend’s Stage Coach festival, however, so the promoters likely aren’t sweating it.

In other news, Travis Scott’s highly-anticipated compilation album JACKBOYS 2 could be set to drop as soon as this week.

As part of an Instagram post wishing his mother a happy birthday, Scott teased that fans could have her to thank for the imminent arrival of JACKBOYS 2.

He wrote: “EVERYONE WISH THE BIGGEST GOAT A HAPPYYYY BDAAAYYY THE QUEEEEN OF DIS HERE. MI MOMMMMMMMAAAAAAA LOVE YA MOOMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAA PS I PLAYED HERE JACKBOYS 2 SHE SAID DROP ON YOUR BDAY BABY JACK. !!!!!”

Travis’ mom’s birthday is Wednesday (April 30), so there is a chance it arrives then or two days later for the traditional Friday music drop.

Scott has been teasing his label’s second compilation album heavily in recent weeks.

He recently wrote on social media: “Jackboys album brazy. I just threw up. Certified.”

Scott also said that he would be dropping the album before he went back to WWE, where he has been heavily involved of late.
